Just a theory, if you don't run or connect TrackIR and take off straight away, do you get any jitter? See you've got a nice PC setup, so doubt it's the PC, but that might show it not being anything to do with the TrackIR. Mine is terrible for stuttering, must upgrade PC soon...

I had the same problem is why I asked. I then downloaded the Version5 software for TrackIR, and that cured it! I too have FSX:Deluxe & Acceleration.

<r>I'd guess it is the differences between admin and normal user directories... FSX might be looking up different .ini or .cfg files from the %appdata%\folders somehow...I think? It's true of XP, if you "run as" an application as administrator, and the administrators My Documents folder is not avail...

I've not tried it yet, as my TrackIR5 died last night, but, try the Eyepoint moving to move your 'head' - it might work?
ctrl+shift+enter to move to the right more, does that work?

Also got a dead TrackIR5, after about 1 months useage. Anyone else's died within the 12 months? Guess I'm just unlucky...

(Have tried device on several other machines, on the main USB ports, never on HUB's)
