Too early.. It seem to work mostly after cold boot, but not after reboot. Powered hub coming tomorrow, have to see if it helps.

Hub is in display (Lenovo L220x), so i think it's powered.

Same problem here, Windows 7 x64, Asus P5Q PRO mb, 4GB memory. With or without usb hub, after unplug & plug works ok.
Power management disabled from Win7, not found from BIOS.
