Vive sync with the retired eSync (1) device

Hi,

I am trying to setup our Prime41 system with HTC Vive and run into problems with the sync configuration. I follow the documentation on your wiki, but we have the retired eSync device and not the new eSync 2. My question is how to setup the sync configuration with the old eSync.

Auto-merge unlabeled markers in csv export

We are experiencing extremely large cvs-files and long export times due a high amount of tracks with fragments of unlabeled markers. As we are using some external post-processing tools for auto-labeling, we still want these markers in the export, but would like these markers to be automatically merg...

Export default TPose

Is there a way to export the default T-Posed skeleton from Motive (i.e. symmetric with zero rotations)? I want to import it into Maya to use as a reference for my 3D-model.

Hi Mike,

Do you have any best practices for camera setup for rectangular volumes?

<t>I got some strange results with the 3-marker calibration when I had one of the cameras tilted 90 degrees. When selecting markers, the crosshairs in the camera veiw for the tilted camera showed a significant offset to the marker positions.<br/> <br/> Can you try this out? it may be a bug that has ...

Re: Tracking Tools 2.2 Beta 1 now available

Wow, the new calibration algorithm is great. I could decrease max marker deflection by half (prior I used to set it to 4, now 2 seems to work fine). This gives much more stable tracking and less risk for false labeling. Thanks a bunch!

Re: 3 marker wand specs and new camera configurations

Are you sure it is 120mm from the end? In Tracking Tools the default settings say 140mm.

Re: Abnormal rigid body info in the stream

I'm experiencing the same problem. NatNet streaming becomes pretty useless if you only can identify one rigid body. I would love to hear some news from NaturalPoint about this!
