Jittery inter-arrival spacing of mocap data packets

<t>I was wondering if there is any plan on improving the consistency of the interval at which data is broadcast from the natnet library.<br/> <br/> As has been conveyed in other posts, one can use the fLatency field in the packet to determine when the data was sent over, and indeed the spacing of pa...

Re: Ribid body definition

<t>Mike,<br/> <br/> Thanks for the response, but that still does not _accurately_ solve the problem. It is like in a drafting package or visual model creation package, you never depend on a person clicking on the screen in order to match two vertices; you provide a snap function or grid or some othe...

<t>SeanGT,<br/> <br/> I can provide some feedback as one of the uses of our systems is for the exact same application, i.e., providing indoor localization for small unmanned vehicles (both ground and aerial).<br/> <br/> Unlike skeletons, where even for small volumes large number of cameras can provi...

Re: Real time motion capture in Unity3D with OptiTrack

<t>Warren,<br/> <br/> I wrote a Unity C# script to receive udp messages from a C/C++ program and use them to move objects in the Unity environment. I also wrote a simple C/C++ program to receive the Arena messages and repackage them for sending to Unity. It works pretty well, especially because the ...

Re: Ribid body definition

Well that sets the origin, but I still have to define the orientation. It would be nice to have an ability to line up any of the axis by using markers. All in all though, the best would be to have the ability to edit the rigid body directly. Is that possible?

Ribid body definition

<t>I am using the wizard in Arena to define rigid bodies for tracking. The problem I am having, I need accuracy on the definition of the origin and orientation of the rigid body. The interactive GUI manipulation is pretty hard to use and I have found no easy way to edit the definition of the rigid b...

NATNET problem connecting Arena to SampleClient

<t>I have what I believe is one of these problems with an obvious answer, however, it has eluded me for a while now. I am using:<br/> + Arena version is 1.6.3000 (Build 8526)<br/> + NatNet tools, version 2.2.0 (4/25/2010)<br/> + Windows XP, SP3, 4G RAM.<br/> + Visual Studio 2008<br/> <br/> I have co...
