Still using my TrackIR5 after a decade!
Hey! What do you know? My last post on here was from May of 2009! Still have my TrackIR5 from back then. Dusted it off so I could play me some Elite Dangerous. Still works as well as the day I first set it up. 8-) I had a TrackClip Pro too, but that didn't fair as well. My headphones tend to end up ...

Re: What does further tracking distance mean?
It's referring to the distance between the TrackClip and The TrackIR.
You you want head movement to translate to more movement in game, then you can make adjustments in your TrackIR profile to do that.

TIR5 Software Maximizes When Launching Enhanced Game
<t>I noticed this first sometimes when exiting a TrackIR enhanced game, the TIR screen would be open when it was closed when I launched it. I now see the TIR screen popping up when I launch the game, and it will be opened when I alt-tab out of game.<br/> <br/> I have a few concerns with it doing thi...

Re: Profile import to new software
You can manually import your 4.x profiles to 5.x by copying the .xml files in
...\Program Files\NaturalPoint\TrackIR4\Profiles\
and putting them in
...\Program Files\NaturalPoint\TrackIR5\Profiles\
I did this and haven't had any problems.

Re: How to turn off the IR LEDs
You are referring to the TrackClipPro button under Basic Settings?
It must be a bug then, because it doesn't seem to turn off the LEDs on my TIR4.

How to turn off the IR LEDs
I just installed the TrackIR v5 software for my TIR4, and I was wondering how to turn off the 4 red IR LEDs using the new software. I don't need them on since I use the TrackClip Pro.

Re: Enhancing TrackIR & Trackclip Pro
<t>Well, IMHO I prefer the wired version, but to the question you posed:<br/> <br/> I think if it was chargeable, it would function the same way, but with the wire detachable (just leave a port on the clip to plug the power wire into). That way, if the battery gets low, you just plug in the wire whi...

Re: BF2
<t>Instructions for how to do it are listed at the end of the video.<br/> <br/> It's rather simple really, he's using BF2's mouselook button with TrackIR's mouse emulator.<br/> <br/> The most obvious issue I notice from the video is that he cannot control the aircraft and look around at the same tim...
