yea those would work. nice thing about DIYing it is that you can increase your amp/hr by paralleling additional cells.

the clip is pretty large. it fit onto my huge Fender headset no problem. the Fatal1ty has pretty good sound quality? i have HD Audio and am hoping to not cut it down much.

In-game overlay?
some programs (xfire and steam to name a couple) use in-game overlays triggered by hotkeys to manage the programs content without leaving the game. i think it would be a really nice feature to be able to pull up an overlay and adjust your curve on the fly.
