Wonderful product but just a bit too fragile
<t>For several years I used a TrackIR 3 Pro with a track clip that had only passive reflectors. I upgraded to a TrackIR 5, and then later, to the Track Clip Pro. I love the performance improvements! I cannot fly a flight sim without them.<br/> <br/> But in the time I've had the LED-based clip, it ha...

No Problems
<t>I replaced my old TrackIR 3 Pro with a TrackIR 5 about two months ago. It works very well, and is a huge improvement over the 3. I use it almost exclusively for the Aces High combat flight sim. I have had only one or two very minor glitches with the software, which were easily cleared by a reboot...

Re: Standing on my head
<t>Just FYI...<br/> <br/> There is a similar problem with VE and the version 4.0.020 driver in Aces High II. From time to time (seems to be related to trying to look straight up) the view gets stuck in "stare at the cockpit floor" mode. Not a huge deal for me as I have a button on my CH throttle/sti...

Minor Problem With TrackHat
The TrackHat is too small for my noggin. Even when I leave that little velcro tab at the back unattached, the TrackHat is just not big enough.
If I might make a suggestion, what about something along the lines of this:

<voice value=Emily_Litella> Never-mind </voice>
I figured it out: my hat with the Vector clip thing was too close to the TIR3pro. Looks like the *minimum* distance for smooth tracking is around three feet.

Problem looking UP ?
<t>I have one minor problem that only seems to exist while in AH: I have trouble looking straight up. The 4.0.020 TIR software shows no such difficulty in the edit/display screens. <br/> <br/> Is there anything I can do on my end, or do I have to just wait for an AH patch?<br/> <br/> [ December 17, ...

TrackIR software version ?
I noticed a pretty quick turnover lately in the driver software from 4.0.018 to 4.0.019 to 4.0.020. What is your policy about software updates? Does NaturalPoint suggest that we *always* keep updating ASAP? Or should we read the release notes and upgrade if and when it addresses our particular issue...
