Re: Motive 1.5 Final now available
I was disappointed to see the that the rigid body smoothing parameter is shared between position and orientation. There are several use cases (one which is very important to us that I detailed in another post) that do not fit this shared smoothing parameter. Please can you reinstate separate smoothi...

Re: Motive 1.5 versus 1.0.2 RigidBody settings
Thanks Dustin. We can live with not being able to set the handedness of the coordinate system. We would however really appreciate splitting the smoothing into two separate controls for position and rotation. We use Motive for live head tracking data for a head mounted display. When wearing the hmd, ...

Re: Motive 1.5 versus 1.0.2 RigidBody settings
Orientation and positional smoothing have been combined into a single slider. This is a strange decision. Positional and rotational data are subject to different degrees of perceptible jitter and thus require different degrees of smoothing. In my experience I need to smooth rotation more than posit...

Re: Motive 1.5 Beta 1 now available
Dear Dustin, Thank you for the response. What is the reason behind you deciding to deprecate this option? If you were to do so, you are likely to cause many customers annoyance and extra unnecessary work. We use a number of different 3D applications (3DS Max, Maya, Unity etc), and each use different...

Re: Motive 1.5 Beta 1 now available
Bug found: The 1.5 beta is missing the option to set the coordinate system to left handed. In 1.0.2 and earlier, this option is found in the Application Settings -> Application Options -> Right Handed System -> True/False. In 1.5beta , this option now reads "take suffix" and has a nonsense...
