Re: Issue with skeleton at playback and trajectorizing
Hello Dustin. I actually can't attach any files because of the 10 MB limit. My recordings are at least 30 MB.

Issue with skeleton at playback and trajectorizing
Hello, So I have recorded some motions using Arena. During the recordings there were some issues with the skeleton like sometimes there would be small fluctuations or sometimes body parts would go red followed by one or more body segments being shown randomly (or scrambled). This happened more due t...

Re: Can I obtain joint angles data from ARENA?
Hi Dustin. Thanks for your reply. I think my reply wasn't posted but anyways, are there any recommended MATLAB toolboxes/functions that can help with extracting/ processing the data from the exported BVH format?

Can I obtain joint angles data from ARENA?
I am currently exporting skeleton data to the .C3D format and extracting marker information in MATLAB using the MATLAB files present on the www.c3d.org website. The data extracted in MATLAB corresponds to only the (x, y, z) coordinates of each marker for every frame. Is there any way I can extract t...

Help deciphering Tracking Tools output .CSV file
I have some confusion regarding the structuring of the .CSV file that I obtained using tracking tools. csv image.PNG Based on the legend given, this is what I understood - The dark blue region is supposed to be the Trackable Marker Location . But then which part is the ID as mentioned by the legend?...

Re: What kind of data an I obtain from the OptiTrack system?
The most common export formats for measurement and analysis applications would be BVH (skeletal data/joint angles) and C3D (marker data/XYZ). Integrating that data to calculate trajectories, kinematics, etc. in the analysis package of your choice should be straightforward, but isn't something that ...

What kind of data an I obtain from the OptiTrack system?
Suppose I am capturing any human motion, so what kind of information does Optitrack get from those markers? Possibly the following? - Joint Angles - Motion trajectories - Position of the markers/frames in space with respect to base frame/marker And what format is the data usually stored in, in case ...
