Re: SmartNav - no longer in production

Hi Ausquad2 I share your frustration. I am not a user but have used the smartnav with people paralysed by Spinal cord injury for many years - it was probably our main tool for computer access. I have 15 or so Smartnavs around, which are all now redundant as it is pointless trialling a product with s...

SmartNav - no longer in production

We have been told by a distributor that SmartNav is no longer being produced. Can you conform that this product is no longer available.
I was confused as you website still show it as an available product.

Are you planning to add samrt nav functionality to any of your other products?

Re: SmartNav4 detecting and freezing issue

Interesting, as we too have been using SmartNav 4 for many years and today I am having issues with erratic pointer movement, despite this not being a n issue previously. We are on Win10 with all latest updates. I have tried the obvious suggestions but also running out of ideas. I am wondering if the...

Re: Is there a keyboard shortcut to start/stop dwell click

Hi JacquelineNJ Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this script. We use Dragon. I have programmed this into Dragon Pro Individual and it works great. Many, many thanks for sharing. I am trying to use Dragon Custom commands to make thinks easier for people who cannot use a standard keyboard...

Re: Mounting

Hi Mike
Thanks for confirming that.
I tried to remove the base but could not seem to do it. Is there a spring clip to take out first, or do you just pull?
Many thanks,
Andrew

Mounting

I thought I read somewhere that the smartnav 4 could be mounted using a standard camera type screw fitting. Is this correct?
If so how do you do this?

Re: Is there a keyboard shortcut to start/stop dwell click

Thanks for that information - I tried using the keyboard and that works great. I just need to work out how to get those keystrokes into a voice command. Not a great fan of writing programs knowing that the program will break if someone moves the icon, but this could be a great workaround to get us g...

Is there a keyboard shortcut to start/stop dwell click

I would like to be able to enable/re-enable dwell click with a keyboard shortcut - I am thinking it may be useful to map this to a voice command "click on" and "click off", or some other way that avoids going back an forward to the screen button. I have created a command for smar...
