Re: Missing sections of data

Hi cmmurphy, Sometimes a machine may not be able to keep up with the full frame rate of the cameras, and process every single frame. In those cases, you would see the 3D is missing, such as in your graph, while the 2D camera data is continuous. You can check your 2D data to see if the markers are st...

Re: POE switch requirements for Slim 13E active system

Hello William, Thank you for reaching out to the community. Each Slim 13E requires 8 watts through PoE. The Active Base Station also requires PoE, but its draw should be less than 4 watts. If you would like an example of a low profile PoE switch, you might like to check out the 8 port switch that we...

Re: Flex3 and Flex13 - mixing

Hi Tanaka, Replacing Flex 3 cameras with Flex 13 will not change anything. You will simply be running with a higher resolution camera that will be able to see markers better and farther. Re: Slim 13 and prime 13 compatibility

My pleasure, Yes, if there is an IR light source then the passive markers should reflect the light back to the camera and be trackable. Our LEDs strobe with the frame rate of the camera, which allows them to draw more power and illuminate farther. Using an external and continuous light source, the o...

Re: Slim 13 and prime 13 compatibility

Hello arslan_kzn, The Slim 13E and Prime 13 camera can be used together. You will just need to note that the Slim camera does not have an IR light source, so will only see active markers. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to us directly. Best, Steven -- Steven Andrews OptiTrack...

Re: Planned Update Schedule for Unreal Engine Plugin compatible with 4.22

Hi Peter, Thanks for reaching out to us regarding the plugin. I am sorry it has taken so long to get an update out there; we have been putting a lot of focus into an upcoming Motive release. Unfortunately, the plugin development has been delayed until we complete other development work. We hope to p...

Re: OptiTrack Cameras Interference with HTC Vive Pro Tracking

Hi swenninger, Unfortunately, as Vive pushes driver updates they potentially change the frequencies that the documentation originally described syncing too. They regularly make changes that require adjustments to the offsets. You can try playing with the offset values to see if you find a new config...
