Re: Problem with exporting tracking data (csv)

Hello Momin, The W is part of the Quaternion rotation. It can be a little hard to explain, but there are online articles that describe how the calculation works. https://answers.unity.com/questions/147712/what-is-affected-by-the-w-in-quaternionxyzw.html When exporting, you can choose to export as Eu...

Re: System Specs for Motive 3.0?

Hello RaveTZ, We generally recommend a 3.0+ GHz i7 processor and 8 GB of memory. Motive 3.0 should continue to run well with these specs. If you can spring for a better processor, an i9 can also go a long way when capturing many subjects on a larger system. In addition, we usually require a dedicate...

Re: No incoming data: check settings

Hi Thomas, Thanks for reaching out to the community regarding your data problem. I do not believe suddenly shutting down Windows should have caused the issue you are having, but if something electrical went wrong I suppose it is possible. Some things to try would be disabling all antiviruses and fir...

Re: Calling Calibration File

Hello shneidr518, Currently, Motive does not do a good job of reporting the calibration that is being used. When it releases, Motive 3.0 will have a redesigned calibration interface that will clearly display this information. For the time being, you could record a take then select it in the Data pan...

Re: HP Reverb support?

Hi BrunoMartelli, The OpenVR Driver will only work with the Vive, Vive Pro and Valve Index. It combines our tracking and their internal sensors, so streaming an unsupported headset will not work properly. Cheers, Steven -- Steven Andrews OptiTrack | Senior Customer Support Engineer help.naturalpoint...

Re: Motive coordinate systems

Hi xezxey, The matrix returned by TT_CameraPositionOrientation is the world-space rotation matrix of the camera extrinsics. The position values returned represent the world-space position of the camera. I am not sure if we understand the rest of your question correctly. If you need more information,...

Re: Motive coordinate systems

Hi xezxey, Motive uses a right-hand coordinate system. We believe the orientation of the cameras to be more like the bottom two examples, with -z coming out the front of the camera.
