Re: Slim 13e No power on POE

Hello Lightside, It sounds like the cameras have stopped working and may be in need of repair. Please feel free to reach out to us directly so we can issue an RMA. When doing this, please include the serial number for the cameras, and the steps you performed when troubleshooting. Thanks, Steven -- S...

Re: Refine Rigid Body

Hi Joseph, You seem to be looking at the documentation for Motive 2.0, not 2.2. The rigid body refinement has been moved to the Builder pane. You can find the current walk-through here . If you continue to struggle with this, feel free to reach out to us directly and we will be happy to help. Cheers...

Re: Camera Focus when using custom Active Markers (LEDs)

My pleasure Joseph! When setting the cameras, you usually want to lock down the aperture before focusing. Exposure settings, in Motive, could be adjusted later if you need to increase the light seen by the cameras. The wand size is really more about the size of the capture area. If you are capturing...

Re: Markers' mean error diverges

Thanks Orita, Motive 1.7.5 is quite old, and not something that was well documented. The status panel does not exist in that version, but I believe the residual may display somewhere at the bottom of Motive. If not, I am not sure where to find the information we are looking for. Best, Steven -- Stev...

Re: Socket size in the OptiTrack Data Streaming

Hi Joseph, This is an advanced property that should typically not be modified. This setting is specific to Unicast setups. Motive does not limit the throughput rate. However, we do set the socket option to non-blocking. This means when the Socket send buffer does not have enough space for the packet...

Re: Camera Focus when using custom Active Markers (LEDs)

Hi Joseph, Changing the aperture or the focus will affect both passive and active markers. Since the IR LEDs usually have a smaller angle of illumination, it is best to focus to them. Doing this will provide the best results for the LEDs, and this should also provide an optimum focus for the usual p...

Re: Active LED Calibration Wand when working only with Custom Active Markers (LED's)

Hi Joseph, You can calibrate your volume using the normal passive wand. The LEDs you are using will simply track as though they are passive markers, since they should utilize continuous illumination as the passive markers do. The active wand is more for volumes that push the limits on maximums dista...

Re: Does the data streaming rate is configurable ?

Hi Joseph, Thank you for sharing this question with the community. Motive will stream the data out at the frame rate of the cameras. This cannot be reduced unless you change the frame rate of the cameras. Instead of this, you may want to access the incoming data at the rate you need. Best, Steven --...

Re: Markers' mean error diverges

Hello Orit, Thank you for reaching out to the community regarding your rigid body tracking. If the mean marker error is slowly increasing, this could be due to loss in your overall system calibration. This would cause noisier marker data, which would likely cause an increase in the mean marker error...

Re: Cameras Don't Appear to work with USB extension provided

Hello Starside, Thank you for reaching out to the community regarding your connection issue. To start, you may want to double check with this cabling guide to be sure everything is connected correctly. For example, the extension can go between the PC and the OptiHub, but not between an OptiHub and a...
