Not that I doubt the legitimacy of the product that I bought (same situation as you, old to new), but my units look exactly like yours. The old one has the yellow caps over the IR emitter and the new one doesn't. I'd say maybe they changed suppliers/emitters along the years? Does anyone have more in...
