Re: Low frames for camera

Hello,

If you are experiencing the low frame rate issue discussed on this thread, could you please share the computer specs (CPU/GPU) as well as the build of Windows update installed on the computer? This will help us narrow down the problem.

Thank you,

Re: Question about AMTI properties

Hello, Thank you for using OptiTrack and sharing your questions about the AMTI force plate integration. Q1: First of all, the width and length values represent the physical dimension of the platform in inches. The electrical offset, or mechanical-to-electrical center, are the values that indicate wh...

Re: TrackIr does not connect with Arma 3

Doing quick testing, TrackIR works with Arma on my end. Please have the gameslist up-to-date on TrackIR and make sure you are running the applications with Admin privileges. You will also have to make sure TrackIR is enabled controller settings in Arma.

Re: Low frames for camera

Hello, Thank you for sharing the details. Could you please make sure the graphics card driver is up-to-date? Also, could you check if collapsing down the advanced settings helps with the behavior? 2020-02-18 09_30_36-TrackIR 5.4.png This issue might be related to the graphics card configuration also...

Re: Track IR5 Stops Working

Hello, When you re-installed the software, have you uninstalled the USB driver also? When the device disconnect, I would check the Windows Device Manager to see if it's getting properly recognized by the computer, or diconnected from the computer entirely, or if it's failling to load the driver and ...

Re: latest software update

Hello, Thank you for reporting this. It looks like the software update page has not been updated properly. All of the software versions are available to download from our webpage: http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/downloads/ At the time of writing, 5.4.2.2745 is the latest version available so the...

Re: Low frames for camera

Hello, Are you using the latest version of TrackIR? Are you seeing this jittering behavior in-game also? In the video, I noticed that the framerate jumps up as you are moving the mouse cursor over the viewport. Track IR software doesn't necessarily clamp its frame update rate at 60-fps, and the soft...

Re: TrackIR5 stops working in RaceRoom 2020

Hello, Thank you for the update on this. If this is happening only with RaceRoom but not in other games/simulations, then it might be related to how our SDK is integrated into RaceRoom. The orange LED (both), still is probably an indicator that the TIR has entered a paused-state. Have you tried disa...

Re: TrackIR5 stops working in RaceRoom 2020

Hello X, Thank you for reaching out to us on this. If both of the LEDs are lighting up Orange, it means TrackIR has switched into the pause-mode. The hotkey to pause TIR is F9 by default. Are you using this hotkey in the game by any chance? If so, you can change the hotkey from the TrackIR program, ...

Re: TrackIR Snapin for Web Servers?

Hello kronovan, Thank you for sharing your feedback! Running TrackIR data on a web server was not considered before as most of our application is used for simulation applications and 3D FPS games, and these would be a bit heavy to run on a web server. It would be possible to develop something like t...
