Re: Status of Linux drivers

<t>I don't think the Linux drivers are ready for public consumption. I bought a TrackIR camera in hopes of using it in Linux. I've applied all the appropriate patches, but can't seem to get the thing running on my machine. <br/> <br/> I am on the development list for this driver, but have yet to hea...

Re: Status of Linux drivers

That was the old site, the new site can be found here: http://trackir.superlucidity.net/ I think it is in a working state, but its written for gentoo. It may also require devfs to work. I run debian sid without devfs, so I've yet to get it to work. I know at least one script needs to be rewritten be...

Re: Status of Linux drivers

I am in the same situation, except that my trackIR is in the mail.

http://www.naturalpoint.com/dev/proj_linuxdriver.htm
There are firmware files there, I believe.

Re: Status of Linux drivers

Well, it could have something to do with the return addres on the email I sent him. I sent him email from a yahoo account, and his software could have filtered it as spam. I sent him email from a yahoo and an edu site this time, so we'll see if either gets through.
