Re: Q: Translation axis in relation to where you are looking
I'm having the same problem. Funny thing is, with the Track IR 4 software it wasn't a problem. Look to the side and move your head forward and you're looking over the side (which is what would happen IRL). Look to the rear and lean your head to the side you're looking toward and again you've moved o...

Re: TrackIR and Wings of Prey Issue
Does that mean I have to literally use the word 'admin' or do I just have to use my log-in, which has admin priveleges?
Never mind. I had to update the games list and add WoP. Working fine, now.

Re: problem with 4.1.036
I've just installed 4.1.036 and I have a different problem. When I'm looking behind me the lean axis is reversed. I remember that this happened when Vector was first released and later was corrected. What happened??

<t>Just got the movie on DVD. Picked up the collector's edition which has the game on disc 2 (in general, the game sucks, but what the hell, it was only a few bucks more than just the movie). Start TIR, then fire up the game and the blue led comes on on the camera. But when I start flying the only w...

Re: Naturalpoint install direction issues
085F2 is only needed by people running Windows 98 or ME (and it should be installed ON TOP of 085F) - the game has issues entering the "3d" part with the 085F version in these circumstances, hence the F2 fix So you're saying that I don't need 085F2 if I'm running XP? That's good news, bec...

IL-2 Sturmovik
I know the game supports only 2dof, but is it compatible with the Vector hardware? If so, what do I need to do to get it to work, because it doesn't? If not, is it compatible with TIR3 Enhanced Mode? I ask because mouse emulation stinks.

Re: Big problem with combat sims -
That sounds like the most likely explanation, Grumps. I only have one combat title (CFS3/OFF) that takes advantage of 6dof (well, 5dof anyway), but adjusting my head position to line up the iron sights of the WWI planes works great and the bullets go exactly where one would expect them to. Plus it '...

Re: Value of Vector Expanion with F.Sims?
I agree with Today, Wombat. For the games that support 5- or 6-dof, going from basic TIR to Vector is like going from hat and mouse views to TIR . Even if your game only works in the up&down/left&right mode, the added stability of Vector is a big improvement. Of course, you should check the ...

Re: Defining "Center" Position
You're still misunderstanding the F12 function. It resets your viewpoint to what is programmed in the game as the standard forward view. That is to say that hitting F12 while using TIR is tantamount to hitting F1 (in most games) while not using TIR. So, you see, the F12 "view" is, in fact,...
