Problems with 2.11 drivers and Lockon 1.02
<t>I'll post this here as only TrackIR 1 users are affected as I understand it.<br/> <br/> Lockon with patch 1.02 won't work with 2.11 drivers (as far as I can tell). The advice (from the lockon forums) is to upgrade to 3.xx drivers. <br/> <br/> Is there any way to get 2.11 drivers to work ? And wit...

Whats the life expectancy of a TIR ?
Will the IR bulbs burn out ? It runs fairly hot - certainly not like a IR remote control or anything.
I'm not expecting to pass this thing on as a family heirloom - I'm just curious whether theres a predicted lifespan (hours).
TIA for any replies.

Still need padlock to give instructions ?
If you want to tell wingman / squad etc to attack a particular target - is there any way other than padlocking them. ATM I just padlock it and give command , then release, but is there any better way - that doesn't involve having your view 'hijacked' by padlock ?
TIA.
TIA.

More smoothing
<t>I would like an option of more smoothing - even at the price of a laggy viewing system. Obviously not for use in IL2-fb, or driving sims, but for FS2002, maybe LOMAC, I think a smoother viewing system would make things feel more relaxed. <br/> <br/> for reference - if you've played Janes F/A-18 (...

precision mode for enhanced mode - re lockon
<t>Any chance of the precision mode that was available in 'mouse' mode making an appearance in 'enhanced' mode.<br/> <br/> Playing Lockon at the moment, and you can really zoom in - I'm using a 5 degree FOV to spot for targets in my A-10. <br/> <br/> But TIR is rather hard to use at this extreme. Re: Advice required please
<t>Curious - the only thing I can think of is that your lockon profile switches you back to mouse-mode. So that even though you choose enhanced mode before you minimize the TIR software, once lockon starts it switches you over.<br/> <br/> Maybe you should make a fresh profile as an experiment. Maybe...

Re: Enhanced mode for the patch
<t>Once Lockon uses enhanced mode, what will happen to people using 2.11 drivers (which don't have lockon in the list of supported games). <br/> <br/> I had some troubles with the 3+ drivers so went back to 2.11. Will lockon try to autoload a profile like il2-fb does?<br/> <br/> And what will happen...
