Re: TrackIR software 5.0 beta 4 available

Hiya Seth,

Thanks for the reply ;)

I can't find this "limit" checkbox you allude to ... is this in the beta 4 software or a later version you're testing? Or do I need to go and get my eyes tested?! ;) (Actually I really do.)

Cheers

<r>
A simple save button is on the roadmap, hopefully in time for next release.
<br/> <br/> I'm also delighted to hear that a SAVE button is coming. One good reason for doing this is that if you tweak your profile, fly your sim and the sim crashes the machine, you l...

Re: a doubtful question from a trackIr4 owner

Well I hope you find it as good as I'm finding it. I continue to be impressed with the mush improved responsiveness I'm experiencing in Falcon.

Cheers!

Re: a doubtful question from a trackIr4 owner

<t>Mgabb, I've only had a morning of flying with the TIR5 after flying most of the evening and last couple of years with the TIR4 Pro. The response really is night and day on my limited testing. The TIR5 is so much more responsive, so much smoother (I no longer need to add the same level of smoothin...

Re: TrackIR 5 Pro, First time user review.

Well Joan was fantastic and the new base arrived today, so I'm good. I have to say that, apart from not thinking much of the magnet attachement design, early impressions are very favourable. This is a step up from the TIR 4 Pro and the new software, whilst needing a SAVE button for profiles, is a gr...

Re: TrackIR 5 Pro, First time user review.
I believe they did the fix in house.. I'm sure you could get instructions from them or on here to do the fix yourself?? J.
Well there's a thread on this here but the recommendation from NP is not to do the fix yourself. I spoke with Joan today (she's great!) and they couldn't ...

Re: Magnets Repel?

Seems like it's not fixed yet ... I just received a unit today with the magnets reversed. I fancied fixing this myself but if it's not recommended, I'll wait for a replacement.

Re: TrackIR 5 Pro, First time user review.

<r>
She was FANTASTIC, I explained, and without hesitation she'd offered me a replacement. She explained the magnets on the units had been fitted upside down and they had to correct the fault thus explaining the seals. <br/>
<br/> <br/> I always try and buy my hardware from RC S...
