That is good news indeed.
My sincere thanks, and apologies to the TrackIR crew for some of my harsher posts.
Well done.

Re: Frame Rates Dropping in game
<t>I have DEFINITELY confirmed that the problem does not occur when the game is freshly started and a first map is loaded. I can attest to the fact that I can maintain an unaffected FPS rate for hours.<br/> However, as soon as that first map is cycled to the next one (without reloading the entire ga...

Re: Frame Rates Dropping in game
<t>I was hoping that this observation might be useful in isolating the problem. We are now able to eliminate certain things, and this points us closer to a possible solution.<br/> <br/> The problem is still there however so how do we proceed from here in order to fix it?<br/> <br/> [ November 17, 20...

Re: Frame Rates Dropping in game
<t>Like I said, PAUSING the game in a single player mode restores the FPS as well with TIR still tracking, so the information is getting passed on through the USB at least ( I think). When the game starts running some information flow becomes inhibited somewhere.<br/> <br/> I thought about the USB a...

In IL2 controls, map Toggle Level Autopilot and turn it on. Now you can use all the guns with the mouse in a bomber.

Re: Frame Rates Dropping in game
<t>I get the problem in single player offline missions as well as online.<br/> <br/> I just observed today that in a single player mission (K4, defend the Oder ) The FPS returned to FULL when I PAUSED the game and TIR was STILL tracking.<br/> <br/> Pressing F9 also returned the full FPS with the gam...

Re: Frame Rates Dropping in game
<t>The FPS drop sometimes does not occur, it is map related.<br/> <br/> I got a new hard drive. Partitioned, formatted, installed XP Pro, newest patches, up to date chipset and video drivers.<br/> <br/> TrackIR software version 27.<br/> <br/> 10 minutes into my Moscow Winter map, WHAP! 25 FPS less. ...

Re: Frame Rates Dropping in game
<t>Hello Rick!<br/> <br/> I think I finally have a bit of a diagnostic breakthrough.<br/> <br/> What I observed is that the fps slow down seems to be symptomatic of some buffer possibly getting filled. <br/> <br/> I managed to capture the moment at which the fps drop and if I F9 at that time and wai...

Re: Frame Rates Dropping in game
<t>For the first time I actually noticed the occurance of the FPS slowdown. I was hosting an online server for a while and was performing a steady low level turn when the FPS all of a sudden dropped. It was as if someone has flipped a switch, from 45 to 20, instantly. I did not notice any particular...
