Yep, that's just what the camera is "seeing" for the TIR itself. I run simulations in 1600x1200 100Hz, and have no issues at all.
I currently am flying MSFS2004 and F4:AF. If you are flying simulators, the higher res the better if your hardware can support it.

Re: I must always re-install
<t>Right click the start button, then click explore, and look for the TIR exe, and try clicking on that icon. If it runs from there, right click the icon, click create shortcut, and drag the shortcut onto your destop. You will then need to drag the other icon into the recycle bin and empty the recyc...

Re: Who can help me with this?
<t>Yes, e-mail them directly for warranty support. if there is a problem, I'm sure they'll get you fixed right up. <br/> <br/> I also use the TIR 4 Pro and as long as there is reflection there on all 3 reflectors it shouldn't affect functionality. Have you gone into "edit" and selected "heads" and c...

Re: Help Flt Sim Set Up
<t>I actually like things fast, and quick with less movement of my head for alot of movement of my "virtual head". <br/> <br/> It took some getting used to, but when I need to look around fast, I can. It really helps when I need to check my 6...and I have to do that alot since I am n00b to combat fl...

<t>Barred,<br/> Thankyou for the reply. IDK if it was addressed to me or the OP, but it is helpful to me. <br/> <br/> I am trying to relax, but I keep catching myself "bearing down". I feel like i'm doing the "G manuever" . LOL <br/> <br/> TIR4 Pro is fun! It's is sooo neat, and is sooo realistic. I...

Re: nVidia issues?
<t>Your system specs seem a little low for MSFS2004. <br/> <br/> Do you have a PC you can try it on? <br/> <br/> I'm running a P43.2E at 3.71GHz, 1GB of PC3200 Corsair, Chaintech6800GT modded, and have had MSFS for awhile now, and the only issues I have had is shimmering, but blanking sounds like th...

Re: FS Dev taking the TrackIR plunge!
<t>I have TIR4 Pro, and you are going to love it! It is soooo smooth, and fluid when you look around. It's almost hypnotic at times! <br/> <br/> I fly flight sims, and have flown MSFS 98, 2000, and 2004, and am currently flying F4:AF most of my free time, and it is so real that you almost forget you...

Re: AF 1.04 brings better 2D panning
<t>I wanna see 6DOF in the 3D pit. That 2D pit is horrible. When I am on apporach I have to switch to 3D to drop the gear then switch back to 2D just to keep the runway in sight. Actually i can drop the gear with my CH HOTAS, but I can't see I have 3 greens down and locked. You never trust that the ...

Re: I am discussted.
<t>I am using the default combat flight profile (I tweaked the curves) and F4:AF recognized it after I did that. You do have to go to settings=>controllers=>make sure the "TIR works in 2D (or something like that)" is green in the little check box at the bottom of that page. <br/> <br/> Make sure tha...

Re: eye strain?
<t>I noticed I had a small amount of eye straing from having the TIR not set sensitive enough. I would have to move my head too much to get the desired view, and this caused me to look out of the corners of my eyes. This obviously strains the eye muscles some. <br/> <br/> I just tweaked the response...
