Re: Accuracy of pointer on hi-res screens

I got mine from www.keytools.com. I sent it back within 14 days for a refund as it gave me terrible neck pain (even though it was way cool and clever!). I'm otherwise able bodied and healthy but was trying to find an alternative to using my hand for the mouse as it gave me bad RSI and CTS. If anyone...

Re: Question about egonomics of the smartNav

<r>Thank Kevin. I read the thread and also the other one it links to. I tried putting the dot on the tip of a microphone (headset) but it exaggerates movements making precise control impossible so I'm sticking to using my glasses for the dot.<br/> <br/> If I slow down the pointer it means I have to ...

Re: Ship with a longer USB cord please

<t>I was surprised at how short the cable is considering it needs to reach from the top of my monitor round the back of the desk and into my PC which sits on the floor. At the moment the cable runs in front of my monitor down onto the floor which is a bit messy and the thickness of the cable slowly ...

Re: Question about egonomics of the smartNav

<t>This is my first day of using Smart Nav and it can't be a coincidance that I've just developed neck pain. I think it's because I'm over-using my neck muscles for very fine movements. Usually I'd move my eyes to look around the screen so my neck is being asked to do something it's not used to. May...

Re: Accuracy of pointer on hi-res screens

<t>Thanks for the prompt and helpful reply, Birch. I've found a UK supplier who will give a 14 day return policy. I guess US customers have the advantage of buying from the manufacturer and at cheaper prices!<br/> <br/> Thanks,<br/> Gary.<br/> <br/> [ January 30, 2006, 04:15 PM: Message edited by: G...

Accuracy of pointer on hi-res screens

<t>I noticed the resolution of the camera is pretty low, so I'm wondering how accurate the control of the mouse pointer is on a hi-res dual monitor display such as 1280x1024. So in total I have 2560x2048 pixels of real estate for my mouse pointer to travel.<br/> <br/> I've calculated that 1 pixel in...
