Re: TrackIR blindspot

<t>I have good news, my TrackIR sprung back to life today so I was able to resume testing. The first thing I tried was lowering the light filtering value in the v4 software, but didn't have any success resolving the issue that way (thanks for the suggestion anyway). So then I decided to give the bet...

Re: TrackIR blindspot

<t>I generally don't like to use beta drivers but I decided to give them a try. Unfortunately my testing ended there because my TrackIR will no longer track anything. I even rolled back to the v4 drivers but the problem persists. If I ever manage to get tracking working again I'll try out the light ...

TrackIR blindspot

<r>Hello. I'm reporting what appears to be a "blindspot" in the TrackIR software when using the TrackClip Pro. I have the new TrackIR 5, although I experienced the very same issue with the TrackIR 4 (I actually hoped that the new TrackIR would resolve the issue).<br/> <br/> So basically what happens...

Re: Trackir not aligned properly

<t>That's a start, although that should have been the case 5 months ago when the issue was first reported. If the developers need a tip on how to debug something like this, they simply need to examine the code that changed between the last version that worked (4.1.028) and the version where it no lo...

Re: Trackir not aligned properly

It's a shame the look down problem hasn't been resolved yet. I haven't been able to use my TrackIR in months because of this.

Re: beta4 software

<t>The front of my cap is situated 3.5 to 4 feet from the sensor. I've tried moving back to a distance of over 5 feet with no difference in behavior.<br/> <br/> Honestly I'm starting to get a little frustrated, I feel like I'm being given the roundaround when the issue should be well documented by n...

Re: beta4 software

Thanks for the suggestion Uffe, I gave it a try but unfortunately I did not notice any improvement. I disable roll because I find it to be superfluous in the game which I use the TrackIR the most (FSX), although I would have gladly renabled it if it fixed the problem.

Re: beta4 software

Nooooo! I'm sorry to report that the issue with looking down has NOT been resolved with this beta. It may even be worse now.

I'll try to remain patient but I'm not really looking forward to another month of waiting for this to be resolved.

Re: Axis Y not steady.

It sounds like you are experiencing the exact same symptoms that Avindair and I mentioned in the TIR3 forum. Hopefully the cause of this issue can be identified and fixed for the next driver version.
