Re: TrackIR5.2 software issues
OK, after writing the above posting I quickly tried something and it seems that the program only detects wheel input if I start the TIR software after switching on the wheel.

TrackIR5.2 software issues
I recently started using TIR again, and installed the latest driver (5.2.x). I have found 2 issues: - The program is not remembering the profiles I set for certain games. For example, I made a "Racing" profile and selected it for the game Project CARS, but the next time I run the TIR softw...

Re: TIR 5.0 / 5.1 and Windows 7 issue
<t>4.1.038 is better, i.e. I can see movement of the reflectors and the heads move accordingly.<br/> <br/> Still, there seems to be an issue between TrackIR, Win7 x64, my steering wheel driver (Fanatec Porsche GT3 RS) and the game GT Legends. When I move my head forward in the game, often the wheel ...

TIR 5.0 / 5.1 and Windows 7 issue
<t>I got my new PC with Win 7 64-bit and installed the TIR 5 software for my TIR 4. At first it worked fine, i.e. the right part of the TIR software screen showed the tracking of my TIR 4 + vector. Installed 5.1 beta3 and 5.0 final B, both show the same problem.<br/> <br/> Now, however, if I call up...

Re: TrackIR4 and NetKar Pro
<t>Update 2: I found that the situation is slightly different. I saw that in the latest 4.1 driver, a bug with NKPro was fixed that it took the wrong profile. This turned out to be the problem - NKPro always takes the Default profile.<br/> <br/> Now, I'm running 5.0. A new 5.1 is also out, but it do...

Re: TrackIR4 and NetKar Pro
<t>Update: problem solved, it turns out that NetKar Pro has F12 mapped to center TIR by default, or at least if TIR is used with the game, but the documentation doesn't say so. This means that you cannot map any other button in the TIR software as apparently the game doesn't allow any other program ...

TrackIR4 and NetKar Pro
<t>NetKar Pro 1.2 works fine with my TrackIR as far as being recognized as TIR Enhanced and it works great in-game. What does not work, however, is assigning any key or button in the TIR software to center TIR. Whatever key or button I choose (and enabling the 'Trap' option), pressing it has no effe...

Switching from TIR3 to TIR4
Hi,
I currently have a TIR3 Pro with Vector Expansion, but I'm planning to upgrade to the TIR4Pro in some near future. Can I just unplug the TIR3 and plug in the TIR4 device, or do I need to re-install the TIR software as well? I'm running v4.1 Build 34 on Vista 64bit.
