Re: Windows 7 conundrum
<t>Make sure you run Smartnav in "administrative mode", also you could try going in "device manager" and uninstalling the USB driver for the main motherboard USB controller and shutting down, restart and all devices should auto-reinstall then restart again. This worked for me. Also try auto update o...

Re: Windows 7 conundrum
I solved the problem. I uninstalled all USB devices in "device manager", shut down, restarted. They all automatically reloaded. I shut down, restarted and it just worked.
Thanks, I got the idea from your questions!

Re: Windows 7 conundrum
<t>I actually made a brand-new hard drive partition and formated it, did a clean install of Windows 7. Then I tried to install my SmartNAV 4 first thing. There is nothing else at all running. No unknown devices in device manager. Software is SmartNAV version 3.2 build 35. The SmartNAV 4 is recognize...

I haven't loaded 64 bit or Win7 yet, I was waiting for drivers. Now that I know these work I'll give them a try.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: SmartNAV 4 losing tracking
Well I tried a powered hub and it didn't help. I thought about what else I might try, so I have completely reloaded a fresh install of XP Pro and I'm still having the same problem. Am I the only one having this trouble?
