So I went through all of your steps (again) and now I get both greens on the sensor, the software is displaying connections as expected, but no visual movement within P3D..

OK, same issue is back.. No Chaseplane running; only the TrackIR and P3Dv4.4.. I'll try your listed steps once again, hopefully it'll work. TIR5 works flaslessly in DCS World, and used to work flawlessly in P3Dv4.4 for me.. but not so much now..

It was actually another application (ChasePlane) that was hosing it all up. The below steps did not fix the problem, so I clsoed down Chaseplane and the TIR5 started working immediately.

I have had TrackIR5 for about a year. The past week or so, it just quit recognizing Prepar3Dv4.4 Works fin in DCS World, but in P3Dv4, it no longer seems to be recognized.
