Found what I needed in another thread that did not come up during a previous search. Fact is the version 5 in win 10 stores the profiles in %AppData%\Naturalpoint\Profile....not sure the link is typed out accurate but that's the general idea. Hope this helps someone else down the road.

I have Trackir5 and have a friend who shared a profile xml file with me. I put it in the Trackri5 subfolder "Profile" and thought it should work it does not. I see here that it how it is done. I grabbed the Seth Flight profile from here and did the same thing with it.,.. it wont work eithe...
