I am getting that exact same error, I also cannot use my clip.

I know this is an old thread, but I recently just got a track IR and I am getting this same problem with no luck on finding any more information on it. The Track IR itself works but the clip causes USB over current errors, when i plug it in seperately it does not seem to do anything.
