Re: Game view looks elsewhere than me with TIR Clip Pro
<t>Have to back Vincent up on that,Ken.<br/> <br/> I never saw anything or considered this as anything more (or less) than a more convenient way of head tracking - by not having to wear the hat.<br/> <br/> I really don't see how it can improve on looking around a screen - you look from left to right...

Re: Game view looks elsewhere than me with TIR Clip Pro
<r>I have reinstalled the drivers (there seemed to be a newer version than I had - the 'B' version) and made sure they didn't go into the Program Files folder (I'm on Vista) and also made sure that the shortcut properties had Run As Administrator checked.<br/> <br/> And it works just fine. <E>...

Re: Game view looks elsewhere than me with TIR Clip Pro
<t>Thanks for the advice, Vincent, I'm going to reinstall it all again (have done several times since I got it, but what's one more, if it sorts it out?).<br/> <br/> I'll go through the configs and profiles settings again including your advice and report back.<br/> <br/> I'm of course in another tim...

No worries
Hopefully Vincent or one of his colleagues will have seen this behaviour before, or at least know a solution.

Game view looks elsewhere than me with TIR Clip Pro
<r>Hi Guys<br/> <br/> I bought the Clip a few months ago and had a lot of frustration with it (not used it once for more than a couple of minutes yet).<br/> <br/> I'm pretty sure I have the positioning of both the clip and the receiver correct.<br/> <br/> In any game that is TIR enhanced the head mo...

View jerking vertically in ArmA
<t>I am having a problem with my TIR 4 and clip in Armed Assault.<br/> <br/> The view is jerking upwards, several times concurrently, every few seconds, though I am not moving my head. It looks like an old TV with bad horizontal stability.<br/> <br/> I have the latest drivers and the latest patch fo...

Re: Switch from cap to headset - problems
The tracking screen is looking just fine - but it's okay - I've gone back to wearing the hat.
Thanx for your time.

Re: Switch from cap to headset - problems
<r>Yes - I do have the 3 reflection points - but the movement is not as much with the VE on my headset as it would be with it on my cap and I think this is the problem.<br/> <br/> With a cap, the whole shebang moves when I move my head - with the headset, it pretty much rotates around a point.<br/> ...

Switch from cap to headset - problems
Hi guys I bought my TrackIR 4 Pro last week and have been using it with the standard LOMAC profile with the Vector reflector on a BB cap. I found the movements a bit 'wild' and also didn't really like wearing the cap, so I mounted the Vector on my headset band. Now I don't seem to have any head move...
