Re: Smartnav 4 and auto pan?
It's been almost 5 years since the original post and as far as I know there has been no progress made on this problem. I am a C3 Quad and really miss the Auto Pan feature. I have not been able to play first person shooters as good as I could back when I had Windows XP and the excellent TrackIR 3 sof...

Re: Have to unplug after a cold boot
<t>Dustin,<br/> <br/> With all due respect, 3.13 was the last version of the TrackIR software that had almost perfect mouse emulation. Once version 4 was released, it was made a stripped down, separate executable that only works with "TrackIR Enhanced" games. And not very well at that.<br/> <br/> I ...

Have to unplug after a cold boot
<t>My SamartNAV 3 has one really annoying problem. About half the time I turn on my PC, my SmartNAV 3 will not respond. I do not have it set to start the software with windows. I launch the software manually when I am ready to use it.<br/> <br/> Now the fun part. After a cold boot, it will either:<b...

Re: TIR 4 Pro disapointment!
<t>I completely understand your frustration and disappointment Dewey. I am also quadriplegic and have used TIR since it was invented. I had a TIR 3 and was really bummed when the 4.x software came out and mouse emulation had been severely crippled compared to 3.x.<br/> <br/> I was told, as you are b...

Re: TrackIR not responding in Serious Sam HD
Thank you so much Mike. Just the idea that it will be looked into means a great deal to me. If it can be done, that would be fantastic. If not, at least an attempt was made which still means alot.
Thanks again,
Bob

Re: TrackIR not responding in Serious Sam HD
<t>Hi Mike,<br/> <br/> Auto panning is when you move the tracking dot close to the left or right edge of the camera view and it continues to send a look right or look left command to the game until you bring the tracking dot back towards center. It has been a part of the TrackIR software from the be...

Re: TrackIR not responding in Serious Sam HD
<t>Since my hardware is actually a SmartNav 3, I tried the latest SmartNav software and it works, well almost. The movement is much smoother than with the TrackIR 4.1.038 software and I can be very accurate when aiming in FPS games. The only, and I mean only problem with the SmartNav software is the...

Auto Panning
<t>Is there a chance that auto panning could be added to a future release of the SmartNav software? It would be a great option in first person shooter games.<br/> <br/> I have been a TrackIR user since the very first version and loved the mouse emulation. It just kept getting better all the way up t...
