Re: Foot pedal
<t>Thanks for the suggestion. I probably have miscommunicated my needs. I do not need to more than 1 kind of click simultaneously. I just would like a foot activated switch that would do 3 kinds of clicks: left, double, and right mechanically without having to tell the software that I needed it to e...

Re: Foot pedal
<t>I don't understand your solution. I think I'm about to give up on the SmartNav product and send back for 30 day refund. There doesn't seem to be any reasonable hands-free clicking solution. Buying a $200 noise cancelling microphone or doing some kludgy two foot pedal solution sounds like good mon...

Re: Foot pedal
I'm trying to avoid any clicking for mouse work: keyboard or mouse itself. Can you recommend a foot pedal that can do left, right, and double clicks ?
Does the single floor switch actually do a double click if you click it twice (I suspect not)?

Re: errant left clicks ?
Am testing with the default word recognition. Do you use voice recog with the hi quality mike ?
I would like to speak relatively softly and find that many times I have to speak the command twice to get recognition. Does the hi qual mike help this ?
thanks,
Phil

Foot pedal
<r>Hi-<br/> <br/> Thanks for all the feedback. 'Nother question if I may: am considering purchasing the accessory foot pedal for smartnav. I have used one before (<URL url="http://www.footmouse.com">www.footmouse.com</URL>) and while it worked well, it stopped functioning after less than a year. It ...

errant left clicks ?
<t>Hi<br/> <br/> Using version 3.2 build 30 on Windows XP. I have Voice clicking installed and working but I notice sometimes it seems to issue left clicks when I don't want them. I have editted the .bnf file to redefine left click to be activated by simply "left".<br/> <br/> <commands> = left:"LEFT...

How to use precision
<t>Just got SmartNav 3 and am enjoying. Can you please tell me how to use precision ? It looks like it is assigned to F8 and I understand that when pressed, small head movements become "significant" in a small area. I tried this in a word drawing but I don't think that I noticed any difference. Can ...

A prospective buyer
<t>Hi-<br/> <br/> Considering buying smartnav3. My situation: professional programmer. Pain in forearms, fingers which has been diagnosed (twice) as overuse syndrome. I need to use PC 6-8 hrs per day to earn a living. I find that I need to avoid traditional mouse use. The clicking is the primary thin...
