TrackIR for retro PC

Hi I'm building a retro pc for vintage sims from late 90's-early 00's (some Janes & DID titles, LOMAC, Wings over Europe, FS2000, etc). I'm gonna use Win98 and I have the doubt if the first versions of TrackIR had support with this OS. Right now I have a trackir5 but I think still have a TrackIR...
