SOLUTION:
it appears that 5.5 has a new check box on by default.
"Create labelled markers" needs to be false in order for streaming to be working. Anyone know if this is by design?

issue with Unreal Optitrack Livelink plug in 5.5
has anyone else had issues in UE 5.5 with the Optitrack plug in? We have yet to make it work, and have tried on multiple machines in our volume. Interestingly, the read me in 5.5 states that it's the plug in for 5.4 -- wondering if maybe there was an error in deployment of the package? Dead in the w...
