Mine gets quite warm also, been doing it for the 9 months I've had it and there have been no probs at all. Don't think it's anything to worry about

Re: FSX Install
To rperezlo and anyone else having trouble with FSX/TIR: rperezlo you beat me to it! Was gonna post about the firewall access issue, Vincent has "hinted" at firewall issues but never came out and mentioned anything specific. Last night TIR/FSX were working perfectly (1st night I had FSX in...

Re: FSX Install
Vincent, forgive me. Somehow it appears that I somehow got back to Alpha 2 apparently. I had been uninstalling/reinstalling different versions with respect to that issue I mentioned to you on another post regarding the view getting "locked" looking at the floor if you look down too far and...

Re: FSX Install
<t>Hey Vincent add me to the list of people whose TIR4 does NOT work with FSX.<br/> <br/> I'm running v4.1.029 Alpha 3 with a fresh install of retail FSX, and NOTHING No blue light, no motion in the VC but of course all works fine with the "head" view but nothing at all in FSX.<br/> <br/> I've kille...

Re: Refresh direct input
<t>Soldano, this is gonna be the stupidest reply I've ever made <br/> <br/> But is your joystick hooked up BEFORE you start TIR4 software?<br/> <br/> Reason I ask is because half the time my poor tired brain starts the software 1st, then later connects the joystick! And if you do that, TIR won't rec...

<t>Bully, I don't have FSX yet, looked all over today but no one was selling it early like I've heard some places are doing <br/> <br/> So I don't have experience of the spot view problem you're talking about but I think there is some info on it in other threads here. IIRC, the solution was to tempo...

Re: What is happening with the new drivers release
<t>OK Vincent, a followup. Yes I can reproduce the issue after turning off True View in my current profile.<br/> <br/> I am certain this is something with the new alpha release (4.1.029 Alpha 2) as I don't remember having any problems like this with 4.1.028. No matter what bizarre head movements I m...

Re: What is happening with the new drivers release
To show you how clueless I am, I didn't know you could turn off true view
I was just off to buy the DreamFleet Beech A36, after I get done with that I'll try it out and let you know what I find!

Re: What is happening with the new drivers release
Vincent, just messed a bit more with that "bug" I wrote about. Was finally able to get it to happen bending down to right, I guess my movements are a little different going in that direction making it harder to reproduce. BUT... I found another much easier way to reproduce it: 1) Sit in yo...

Re: What is happening with the new drivers release
Thanks Vincent, I'll give that pause bit a try and see what happens Actually I've already got pause mapped to a button on my Logitech G5 mouse so it should be easy. Another thing for what it's worth, I tried leaning down and right as opposed to down and left, and it seemed to recenter properly every...
