FPS is set to 30.
Thanks for you help anyway but I have had to send this back as I just cant get it working well enough. I have tested it on my friends XP system and it works fine.

I have disabled everything I can in the background including anti-virus and spyware doc.
Just not getting good performance with this, are you sure that there are no known problems with Vista 64bit?

Yes I get good smooth movement with the heads screen.
I am using the "Flight" profile with FSX
Smoothing is set to 30
All of the axes boxes are ticked and acceleration is set to Custom for them all.
