Re: TrackIR software 5.0 beta 4 available

<t>Do you experience X-axis limits in the TrackIR5 software, or just in-game? <br/> -Just in FSX. I loaded up beta3 to recheck it, and it has unlimited x axis, then reinstalled beta4 and it has limited x axis again.<br/> <br/> Is it possible this is profile related? Can you try scaling up your x-axi...

Re: TrackIR software 5.0 beta 4 available

<t>What happened to the x axis movement in the new beta4? The X axis is now back to the limited movement it is in TIR4 software. The biggest complaint I had with TIR4 was that in FSX in large cockpits you couldn't reach over far enough to the right side of the cockpit to overhead panels to adjust kn...

Re: Not enjoying TRACKIR-5. Why ???

<t>If it's your first time with TrackIR, it takes a while to get used to it. I've been using mine for a long time now, but when I first got it, it did not feel natural. It' takes a couple weeks before it feels natural.<br/> <br/> Also, I have TIR4 hardware and I don't use the new TIR5 beta software ...

5.0 beta 2 Z axis jerky

<t>I haven't tried any of the previous 5.0 software versions, just the current beta 2. The default sensitivity for the Z axis barley moves my viewpoint. If I increase the graph points for it so I can move forward and backwards more, I get very jerky movement at the far end of the movement even thoug...

Re: What does further tracking distance mean?

<t>[quote=Catch22]<br/> You you want head movement to translate to more movement in game, then you can make adjustments in your TrackIR profile to do that. What does further tracking distance mean?

<t>I just got the email announcing the TIR5. <br/> <br/> My only complaint with TIR4 was that in large cockpits such as the PMDG747 in Microsoft Flight Simulator, there wasn't enough lateral movement (left to right) in TIR4 to allow you to reach all the buttons and switches on the right side of the ...

Re: How do I overcome the lateral limitation?

<t>Any explanation from the development team yet on this? <br/> <br/> It's frustrating to not be able to reach some buttons and switches on the co-piolts side of the cockpit in FSX, because I can't slide far enough to the right.<br/> <br/> If it is a limitation from FSX, then can you explain the beh...

Re: How do I overcome the lateral limitation?

Ok, thanks, can you post here when you get an answer.

There doesn't seem to be any limitation in FSX. You can use your keys to move sideways along the X Axis all the across the cockpit and out the doors if you want.

Re: How do I overcome the lateral limitation?

<t>Reinstalled it but still notice the same thing. <br/> <br/> To make sure we are talking about the same thing, can you try this please.<br/> <br/> Start FSX, choose the C172. Go to Virtual cockpit, center your TrackIR. Now keep looking straight ahead, don't look to the side. Now slide your head to...
