Re: IL2:FB/AEP/PF and getting zoom in/out = Z axis
<t>I don't believe TrackMapper will do what I mean, as it seems to be capable of mapping a key based on X-Y location only (not Z).<br/> <br/> IL2:FB/AEP/PF etc. supports only X and Y (mouseview). However, it has three levels of zoom (wide, normal, zoomed in) that are normally associated with keystro...

IL2:FB/AEP/PF and getting zoom in/out = Z axis
Is there a way to make the Z-axis movement linked to the keys in IL2:FB/AEP/PF Delete, End, and Page Dn? Those are the Zoom out, Normal View, and Zoom in (might have that backwards) default keys.
Thanks.

Re: TrackIR2 and 4 on the same desktop PC?
<t>So what I am understanding you to say is that if I want to have both TrackIR2 and TrackIR4 working on my WinXP box, I should NOT uninstall TrackIR2 anything and simply install the TrackIR4 software into a different folder.<br/> <br/> Currently, TrackIR2 is under: C:\Program Files\Naturalpoint\Tra...

TrackIR2 and 4 on the same desktop PC?
<t>Hi--<br/> <br/> I have been a long time user of TrackIR2. But a deal came up for a TrackIR4 and I just had to get it. My question is: Can I have both installed at the same time on my PC?<br/> <br/> The reason I ask is that mostly I fly on my desktop PC (old CRT monitor). My son uses the laptop. O...

Jim (Richardson???)--are you out there?
Jim-- I posted a topic about USB cable length (re: ijhutch) a few days ago. I then called your tech support and he said he'd get the question to "Jim" (which I am assuming is you) and that I could probably expect an answer within 24-48 hours. See http://forums.naturalpoint.com/cgi-bin/ulti...

Re: USB cable length?
<t>TrackIR2 is a USB 1.1 Full Speed device (just got off the phone with NaturalPoint Tech Support). The cable that is built in with the unit (not detachable at the base) is 6 feet long.<br/> <br/> The Tech Support guy has tried appending two 3 foot extensions before (so 12' total but with two sets o...

Re: USB cable length?
<t>TrackIR2 is a USB 1.1 device. I believe that only USB 2.0 deviced are considered "high speed". <br/> <br/> So, bottom line is that being a "low speed" (USB 1.1) device, it appears I am limited to "the limit is 3 meters (9 feet 10 inches)" of total length. I'll have to measure the length of the ex...
