Marker Positions from Arena or Tracking Tools
<t>Hi,<br/> Is there a way to stream individual marker positions from Arena or Tracking tools via NatNet or VRPN. <br/> The problem we are trying to solve is to compute the distance between two markers (we only need 2 markers, no body suit or rigid bodies involved)<br/> We tried receiving the marker...

Latency
Hi,
Do you know what the latency is between the camera and the output to the network streaming in tracking tools.
It seems low but we need an estimate for this.
Many thanks,
Bernhard

Re: Hemisphere settings
Hi, Sorry, I was referring to the beta version of the tracking tools, which I got from support because of problems with VRPN and other protocol streaming unable to stream frame with the official release of the rigid body toolkit. In the official release there is the possibility to set the origin of ...

Re: Hemisphere settings
<t>Hi,<br/> <br/> What is the correct initial orientation of the rigid body when it is created? Is there any diagram somewhere as to how the Optitrack rigid body frame (the real object) should be oriented with respect to the world coordinate system to work correctly?<br/> <br/> Thanks,<br/> Bernhard...

Rigid Body ID as VRPN Sensor ID?
<t>Hi,<br/> <br/> If I define 2 rigid bodies with the same name and different ids is it possible to be pass these on to the vrpn client?<br/> This would come very handy because the vrpn_TRACKERCB structure contains a member called "sensor" which I guess should contain the number of the sensor of whi...

Re: NatNet Streaming Client reading data from Arena?
<t>Hi,<br/> I was trying to get the raw 3D marker positions from Arena through the NatNet SDK 1.4.<br/> Unfortunately if there is no skeleton or rigid body defined then no data is received on the NatNet client even though the 3D markers are displayed nicely in arena and their Id and position can be ...

Re: NatNet Streaming Client reading data from Arena?
Hi,
I have adapted my client to the new NatNet SDK.
I can now animate Cal3D avatars in real time based on whole body tracking data in our XVR virtual reality system.
This is fantastic news!
Thanks a lot,
Bernhard
