I am using trackIR4 version 4.1030. Should I update to 4.1037 or version 5.0? When updating how do I save my current settings? Do I have to uninstall my previous version?

I have my receiver on the left side of my monitor and the track clip is on the left side of my headset. I might try switching both to the right side just to see if it makes any difference.
