Re: Wider FOV than 58 degree lenses?

<t>Hello:<br/> <br/> Thanks for the feedback on the need for wider FOV lenses.<br/> <br/> I agree that for smaller capture volumes, a wider FOV would be very useful. Too add to what Seth said above, we do try to match our FOV to the IR LED FOV and also to the resolution of the sensor (pixels per deg...

Re: Tracking more than 2 persons

<t>Petter:<br/> <br/> I can say that we have used up to 3 actors at the same time, in testing, with an 18 camera S250e setup. There is no hard limit in the Arena software, so you can define as many as you want, and see how it works, but officially, we support 2 actors. <br/> <br/> Bryan is right, th...

Re: Why no manual on software?

<t>Jack:<br/> <br/> Thanks for this post. I think it is very fair to say that Arena needs a manual in order to get the most out of it. The video tutorials are there to get you up and running, but to fully understand all the features, a manual would be the way to go.<br/> <br/> The reason we do not h...

Re: AWESOME Article on CGTALK! way to go Naturalpoint!

Oh, now I realize you all might think I am too young to run the company:) Don't worry, that was an older picture and I have lost a lot more hair since then :)

Thanks for the kind words Bryan.

Re: dull / dead IR emmitters

<t>Craig:<br/> <br/> The LEDs on the rings can degrade with time, they are very powerful, and they can age. As Vince says, this happens in pairs because two are wired in series. This is the same thing with almost all lighting. Even TVs are rated at 1/2 their brightness over an 8 year period. <br/> <...

Re: cannot import the *.cal from arena in traking tools

This should work, .CAL files are interchangeable from Arena to Tracking Tools. Please make sure you have the most recent version of each software package, as changes have been made over the different releases.

Re: Cordless ?

Hello:

We think a wireless version is a great idea. As we continue to develop the TrackIR line, we will include this idea.
