Re: 3 marker wand specs and new camera configurations
<t>I have since purchased a second Foundation 12 pro system with the V2 Cams and I am currently using 6 of my old v1 cams as a dedicated mocap volume for expression and it's setup in a sound booth. However, I'm having a lot of problems calibrating the system.<br/> <br/> My sound booth is 3.5 ft x 6 ...

Re: Trajectorize Hangs
<t>This is also happening to me. I have newly built a 6 core AMD with 16gb of RAM and a 1gb nVidia card running Windows 7 Pro 64bit.<br/> I'm using the Foundation Pro 12 cam v2 setup. I get exceptional calibration on all cameras, however this trajectorize hang keeps happening. When I try to do "traj...

Re: Running Arena under Linux
<t>In my production pipeline, I am using Animux (a debian distro - animux.org), and primarily using Blender (blender.org)as my 3D Animation tool of choice. Re: Running Arena under Linux
<t>Linux is rising in popularity. I dropped almost $10,000 for the Optitrack / Arena MOCAP system. I am in the process of starting my own Animation and VFX studio that will be using an all open source solution; with exception to this. I have to keep one PC with windows just to use the MOCAP system.<...

Re: Running Arena under Linux
would you consider releasing the source code for the drivers to the open source community in order for them to develop Linux support for the optitrack system? You would be opening up a bigger market if you do, and you wouldn't have to pay the developers to do the work for you.

Running Arena under Linux
I was able to register the Arena software successfully under a Linux OS using WINE; however, it doesn't pick up the camera. I know that Natural Point FAQ stated that there weren't any plans to have drivers for linux; are there any other 3rd party alternatives?
