Ok, I sorted it out.

I then decided to try version 5 software but I stated having problems with the Z axis bobbing in and out so I thought I'd go back to version 4, but now it won't detect my device. So am I stuck with version 5?

I just ordered what I thought was your state-of-the-art product the TrackIR 4 and the next week, you come out with the TrackIR 5. You even charged me the old higher price for the TrackIR 4. Thanks a bunch.
