Re: Need some motion capture done
I have a 12 camera system I could help you test with if you don't get any 18-24 camera takers. Let me know if you are interested.

Re: 3 marker wand specs and new camera configurations
<t>Thanks for all of the help. After building one with success, I am going to also buy one since the one NaturalPoint is selling looks to be of great quality. <br/> <br/> I had question for expression though. I know that in the old calibration it was best to use a smaller marker for calibration. Wit...

3 marker wand specs and new camera configurations
<t>Support, could you please provide me with the specs of the distances between markers for the new 3 marker calibration wand and the preferred marker diameter? I want to order one of your wands for my studio but in the meantime want to start playing with the new calibration technique and have marke...

Re: FBX Export from Arena Actor foot issues
It seemed to help a little when I took the shin 2 markers off the shin section and put them on the foot section in MB so there are 3 markers on each feet in the actor dialogue. still not perfect though. Any thoughts?

FBX Export from Arena Actor foot issues
<r>I am having an issue when exporting the 34 marker set trajectorized data to FBX. When I bring it into Motionbuilder(2010) then the feet are tweaked to a weird angle. I am using the latest version of Arena. I have never noticed this issue before when using the 38 marker set. Also when I bring in j...

Re: Cameras switch off randomly
<t>Not sure if this helps but I've had one or two cut out on me due to static build up. it's rare but I've had it happen a few times when I'm adjusting a camera. I am in a very dry location though (Utah). I don't recall it ever happening in the middle of a shoot before though. To remedy I just have ...

Re: Mocap Suit Washing Care Advice
Lando, that is a nasty thought, but I know exactly what you mean, especially after a long sweaty day with multiple actors. I do what Vincent does. I also keep some Febreze handy in the studio as it freshens up the suits in a pinch.

Re: Flickering problems in calibration
<t>Vincent, could you send that to me as well. I am not having as many problems as SunGS is but I would like as much advice as possible on getting the best setup with the 7 camera system. (calibration, positioning, floor square positioning etc) A lot of the stuff currently online is a bit inconsiste...

Re: Success! And more questions: capture area, pose, etc.
<r>One thing I noticed that threw me off (I blame my contact lenses <E>:)</E> ) on the arms is that it helps to have the middle marker opposite on each arm. Meaning on one arm it's toward the bicep and on the other arm more on the tricep side. also make sure the middle marker is not centered between...
