Intrinsic parameters and camera orientation
Hi, We are doing research about different camera calibration techniques, and we are investigating the results we get from the calibration using the Motive::Tracker OptiWand calibration. We are using V120:SLIM cameras with 58 degree FOV lenses. We use active markers in our setup; we converted the cal...

Re: Extract camera parameters from recording
I understand. I sucessfully used the code today in the lab with the cameras attached and it works. Good to know I can just open the .cal file without having to open a project file first.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Extract camera parameters from recording
That is exactly what I tried, and returns 0. Loading of the calibration file succeeded though.

Extract camera parameters from recording
Hi, we are doing research on calibration and triangulation algorithms, and I would like to extract at least the camera parameters from a recording I did in Motive:Tracker. I am able to extract the information when the actual cameras are connected, but I am away from the labo for a week, and I don't ...

NatNet client memory management
<t>Hi,

I am using the NatNet client class in C++, and I was wondering if I had to do any memory cleanup. The samples doesn't seem to clean up any memory. The functions I am talking about:

SendMessageAndWait writes to a void* message. How is that memory managed?

GetDa...

Re: Camera positional information
Thanks a lot! I will use the SDK to save the information then. Is this information by any chance also available in the Tracking Tools GUI?

Calibration using the SDK
<t>Hi,

We have a very specific setup and use custom software to do motion analysis, using only the positional info of unidentified markers output by Tracking Tools.

The only thing we have to use the actual Tracking Tools GUI for is the calibration process. Are there any plans t...

Camera positional information
<t>Hi,

We are doing experiments on positioning the six cameras we use for our specific setup, and want to save/report the position and rotation information (so the extrinsic parameters) of the cameras, so we can reproduce the setup later on.

Is this possible, using the Tracking...

Re: Active LED "lens" shape
Allright, that was the answer I was looking for. I will find a way to shave the material as ball-shaped as possible.
Thanks
