Re: Hand / Finger Tracking
Hello TobiasM, Unfortunately, Motive 1.10 is still unable to capture the independent motion for each finger. Motive:Body does include a simple finger setup in which one marker is placed on the thumb, index and pinky. The rest of the finger motion is extrapolated from the three markers. Unlabeled mar...

Hello trackback, Unfortunately, streaming to Linux is not something we develop for or test, so I am unable to provide any useful feedback regarding this task. I hope that some other users who have attempted streaming to Linux, are able to provide some useful information. Best, Steven -- Steven Andre...

Re: Format of Streaming Data
Hello uhlavalab, VRPN is a standard streaming protocol that is maintained by Sensics. Information for this should be publicly available. https://github.com/vrpn/vrpn/wiki If you are using the NatNet protocol, the NatNet SDK provides all of the tools needed to connect to Motive's realtime stream and ...

Re: Setting data streaming rate
Hello ml-7, Thank you for sharing your information here. Any settings that affect the frame rate of the cameras will not help to throttle down the data stream. Motive will continue to stream the data as quickly as it can process it and as close to the camera frame rate as it can. I am not sure about...

Re: Motive file format?
Hello mrkozlowski, Thank you for reaching out to the community with your question. The format for the rigid body files is not something that has been shared publicly, but if you are using the Motive API, you can load a rigid body file, or a project file containing your rigid bodies. NPTrackingTools....

Re: Avatar visualization
Hello Claudio, Thank you for your feedback on the Motive visualization. Currently, there is no way to change the avatar that is displayed in Motive. You can change the color by changing the segment color, but that is about the extent of the functionality. It is not in our current plan to change the ...

Re: NatNet - Android data streaming
Hello ml-7, Thank you for reaching out to the community regarding your work. Unfortunately, we do not have a version of the NatNet libraries that is directly compatible with Java, so using direct depacketization will be the required method. It sounds like you have struggled with the direct depacketi...

Re: Distance between cameras
Hello Younes, Thank you for reaching out to the community, and apologies for the delay in any responses. Your capture project sounds like a tricky one. We usually expect sub-millimeter accuracy from our system around .2mm. Trying to capture movements that are beyond this resolution may be difficult ...
