Re: TrackIR stops responding in Prepar3D v2.5

Well...it sure is much easier to land with TrackIR running that's for sure ;) Thanks for the link but my experience is SimConnect can be quite nasty to mess around with so before trying to install some new SimConnect msi package I'll start by trying to find a way to get a SimConnect log file to be a...

Re: TrackIR stops responding in Prepar3D v2.5

Unfortunately same thing happened again and just in time for the landing but did make it down on the ground in one piece despite this ;) One thing I've noticed and I'm not sure if it's related to this issue is I'm getting some weird stuttering even when my FPS seems good. Reason I suspect there migh...

Re: TrackIR stops responding in Prepar3D v2.5

This was after my initial report so it happened again and before my first report it happened a couple of times IIRC.

Just doing the return leg back to Stockholm from Copenhagen keeping my fingers crossed it won't happen again.

Re: TrackIR stops responding in Prepar3D v2.5

And at the same time I guess I should have kept my mouth shut because tonight it happened again but luckily at the end of the flight when I just parked at the gate. Same thing as before, the two green lights on the device illuminated but no response when moving the head and when moving the cursor ov...

Re: TrackIR stops responding in Prepar3D v2.5

In my case I haven't seen the problem anymore after switching the USB port my TIR is connected to so you might wanna try that.

Re: TrackIR stops responding in Prepar3D v2.5

Hi Mike,

Haven't tried re-installing but fact is I've now completed a couple of more flights without any issues so I'll keep my fingers crossed it was just some temporary problems.

Will report back in here if I see the problem again.

TrackIR stops responding in Prepar3D v2.5

Been using TIR5 without any issues for a very long time now but after replacing Microsoft Flight Simulator X with Prepar3D v2.5 I've seen an issue a couple of times now when TIR for some reason stops responding to my head movements. The green leds on the TIR device stay on when this happens. If I ho...

Re: ALLUSERS folder

<t>Thanks Jeff for your prompt reply and support!<br/> <br/> Since I haven't been in your forum for quite a while I would also like to extend my BIG thanks for your product. It is one of those "add-ons" I wouldn't want to be without in FSX and it has really raised the sense of realism more than anyt...

Re: ALLUSERS folder

<t>Noticed there are references to this ALLUSERS_DIR folder in the Registry so I'm not sure if it's a good idea to move this file to a Styles folder manually and then removing the ALLUSERS_DIR folder...<br/> <br/> When can we expect a modified installer that will put all folders and files where they...
