Okay, thanks! Perhaps a safer option would be an iMac with:
* 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
* 1GB memory
* 250GB hard drive
* 8x double-layer SuperDrive
* ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT with 128MB memory

Re: ARENA on Mac Intel/Windows?
Okay thanks. Is a good graphics card a necessary for ARENA? It isn't mentioned in the specs, so I wasn't sure if that was something ARENA needed. The Mini doesn't seem to have a particularly big graphics card.

Re: ARENA on Mac Intel/Windows?
I was considering a Mac Mini with 2GHz dual intel processor, 1gb ram, 120gb hard drive, 4 USB 2 ports. Do you think this is sufficient to run ARENA and 6 cameras?

Do the Optitrack cameras mount on a standard camera tripod, or does it need a special mount?

How many markers do you need for ARENA full body mocap? And will there be instructions for proper placement?

Re: Mocap Training Resources?
<r>Thanks! I actually kind of figured it wouldn't be an easy thing to find, seeing that ARENA will be breaking new ground by allowing consumers to do mocap. Perhaps there will need to be a Mocap Techniques forum here at NaturalPoint, for ARENA users to share ideas/experiences, since I'm not sure the...

Mocap Training Resources?
<t>Are there any resources for learning best practices/techniques for motion capture?<br/> <br/> For example, if you wanted to capture somebody sitting down at a table and leaning their elbows on the table, it seems like an actual table and chair might occlude the markers/cameras, but that having a ...

Cool! Could you outline the specs of the machine, and which Windows emulation software you are using?

Re: bvh files produced by Arena
<t>I was able to import the bvh into Poser and render that in Cinema 4D (on a Mac) using Kuroyume's InterposerPro for Cinema 4D. It worked really well, the only problem was that the toes kept going through the floor--they didn't seem to bend. Will the Optitrack system allow for toe bend? Also, for M...
