external processing support
<t>I'd like the ability to either implement filtering and labeling algorithms of my own internal to arena (exposed through activex scripting?) or to both export and import data from Arena to process it externally. If data is to be exportable and importable, I'd like to be able to have the ability to...

batch processing
<t>I'd like to be able to set up an order of operations to be run on takes in batch.<br/> <br/> The example (but not the only use) would be to first run a butterworth smooth on all markers with particular settings, then run a gap fill, linear on all gaps shorter than a certain length. Then I'd like ...

slim 100 and v100 together
the website says that cameras of different types cannot becombined in a single system. So, no c120 with a v100. does that include the v100 and slim 100? Can these two cameras be mixed as I believe they're based on the same hardware?

Re: Camera control in Point Cloud
That's a really good question. I've been meaning to ask in general, can you use the optritrak sdk along with the pointcloud sdk in the same application, to do this kind of thing? Or, once you're in the pointcloud sdk, is the optitrack sdk off limits?

Re: Point Cloud questions
<t>What is the limiting factor at this point for number of cameras? CPU? Mem? USB bandwidth? PCI bandwidth?<br/> <br/> If CPU, are the drivers multi-threaded? Will processor upgrades help?<br/> <br/> If USB bandwidth, would a second USB card solve the issue?<br/> <br/> If PCI bandwidth, anyone seen ...

Re: active tracker development at PLF
<t>We'll most likely attempt to use both but I suspect the active markers will make up for the hassle at capture time, with better quality tracks at cleanup time.<br/> <br/> Obviously for facial we'd go for retro reflective rather than active. But full body is going to be pushing the system pretty h...

Re: active tracker development at PLF
<t>I only just had enough time to do a preliminary test but I'm very impressed with the LEDs. I was able to get about 170 degrees of visibility total, at a distance of 16 feet. The only reason I stopped at 16, was the wall. I don't know if the angle of incidence falloff is due to the LED emission or...

<t>Jim,<br/> <br/> I received the wide throw LEDs today. They look pretty interesting.<br/> <br/> Before I start hooking them up to power supplies, I wanted to check with you. What are their specs? What is their min and max voltage. I don't want to burn them out.<br/> <br/> thanks.<br/> <br/> -brad<...

active tracker development at PLF
<t>I've been experimenting with my old trackers and some new techniques. I've never used them with natualpoint cameras before, so this was all new to me. I had been using them with standard DV camcorders previously.<br/> <br/> I'm using 920nm LEDs that take about 1.5 volts and 50milliamps max. The c...
