Re: Possible to widen the effective angle?

Wouldn't increasing the speed (sensitivity) also help?

Re: SmartNav suddenly choppy in-game
Just a guess, but make sure your mouse override delay is set to 0.0.
That did it!!!

I don't know why the problem started (the delay had always been 1sec with no problems) but that solved it. Thanks!

Re: SmartNav suddenly choppy in-game

No. I can even just drop my hat, reach for the mouse and play normally. It's only using the SmartNav that the issue appears.
I'll try the mouse override delay tonight, but I would have thought that if it was an issue I'd also see the symptoms on the desktop and in game menus.

SmartNav suddenly choppy in-game

<t>Hi guys,<br/> <br/> Longitme user here. A couple of weeks ago my SmartNav suddenly became unusable in FPS games (turning around would give a freeze-frame slideshow turning 40 degrees each second). The desktop and even game menus were perfectly fine, it was just in-game (I tried a few games).<br/>...

Camera not detected after Win7 restore point

<r>Hi guys,<br/> <br/> I've had a SmartNav 4 installed on my Win7(64) pc for about 4 months now and it has no problems.<br/> <br/> About a week ago, I suddenly experienced choppy performance in games. The desktop was fine, game menus were fine, but in the gameplay it was a slideshow. The slightest m...

Re: Are multiple screens possible?

<r>I'm using it on three huge screens right now. It works fine, but because my screen space covers more than a car windscreen, sometimes the point of my track hat passes out of range of the camera. It just means I have to move the camera back a little, but I have nothing to rest it on so I just deal...

Re: TIRMouse not working with Win7??

Thanks Vincent, you're always so quick to respond. I'd tried running TIRMouse then going into a game, but it didn't seem to respond. I'll try the admin thing tonight.

Re: TIRMouse not working with Win7??

Because Mouse Emulation has that buffer thingy where you can adjust the width of the virtual screen so it keeps turning on the edges. SmartNav works, but you eventually wind up with your head turned all the way to one side just to face forward, or not be able to turn the whole way around.

TIRMouse not working with Win7??

<t>Hi Guys,<br/> <br/> I have a SmartNav 4, and I use it with TrackIR and mouse emulation for gaming (got right through HL2, Fallout 3, etc etc).<br/> <br/> My compter died, and I just got a shiny new Windows 7 one. I downloaded the TrackIR 4 software, but "Mouse Emulation" now seems to be "TIRMouse...

Re: WASD hands free?

<r>OK, I was on my way to update this thread and I got a little sidetracked. It's not my fault!<br/> <br/> The best solution I found for hands free gaming is to use:<br/> <br/> -Footpedals for the WASD (forward, back, left right). I use the Fragpedal Elite II.<br/> -Voice Buddy for all weapons/inven...
