Re: Error creating DX device

Hello, I don't have any specific knowledge myself, but after researching a bit here is the best troubleshooting/solution I've found. Completely uninstall the display adapters and reinstall them. Method 1: Follow these steps: a. Open Device Manager by clicking theStart button, clicking Control Panel,...

Re: Head Drifts Up when looking down (and panning).

foxtrot789,

It looks like there is a slight downturn when looking. You can lower and re-angle the camera or add a slight deadzone to the y-axis so it doesn't do that.

Re: New SmartNav Software update

artafel,

I'm sorry that our website doesn't show the information correctly. The software version 3.30.039 does work on Windows 10 and it the correct version to use.

Re: Cannot find the procedure entry point?

Hello, It seems to be a missing DLL file or an issue between the registry and the DLL. You'll want to run the System File Checker. 1. Open Command Prompt as an administrator. 2. Type in the following sfc /scannow. 3. Once done repair the items needed and reboot. Please let me know if this resolves t...

Re: TrackIR 5 Device not detected

Beau, If you are not seeing that folder, it means that the installer didn't go through correctly. You first would want to re-run the TrackIR 5.4.2 installer and see if it prompts for driver installation, if it does just follow through with the install and you'll be fine. If it doesn't than the failu...

Re: Software Corruption?

TheIronGod, The only thoughts I have on the issue would be to remove the video drivers, reboot the PC, download and install the latest video drivers, reinstall SmartNav and test it out. In my experience the issues have largely been caused by creators edition conflicting with video drivers. If that d...

Re: Software Corruption?

TheIronGod,

Is it possible that this could be related to a Windows update? I know that they have been rolling out the Creator's edition update and it's caused some problems for other products.

Re: Installing 5.4.2 - Upgrading from 5.2 - error 1325

Hello, Windows gets stubborn sometimes and I have to go in to manually remove everything from the registry. Here are the steps I take: 1. Remove TrackIR from add/remove programs 2. Remove NaturalPoint Drivers from add/remove programs. 3. Delete installer executable from where you saved it 4. Delete ...

Re: Setup for 55 inch hd tv

Jono, I unfortunately no longer have that set up, though as long as the TrackIR can see the TrackClip you should be fine. The main axis that is impacted is the Z-axis, the issue happens if you tilt the camera to get a better view of the TrackClip. You go to lean in and the angle translates into pitc...
