Re: TrackIR and stereo vision

<t>Not sure what you are getting at here. Are you saying as a way to use TIR in games that don't support it? It would only be marginal use in that case as all you could do would be lean left and right, and even then I don't think it would be possible.<br/> <br/> However, I would imagine TIR would wo...

How to make TIR much more game friendly

<t>OK, so I have had TIR for a good 6 months now, and I love it. Problem is, not enough good games support it. Even when they do, implimentation can be ropey - For example Insurgency suffers from ironsight usability issues unless you set a big deadzone which ruins immersion, and I have similar issue...

Re: How about this in coming trackIR products

<r>All 6DOF TIR games do this already, it's just that normally you are controlling a head bound to a body and it doesn't let you lean too far left or right, so you do not notice the effect as much. You would get the effect in the wii demo, if, for example, you set up a bunch of targets like that in ...

Nitro Stunt Racing

<r>I put a post in their forums requesting TIR support - we will see how it goes.<br/> <br/> Great driving game - basically Stunt Car Racer (If you are old enough to remember that).<br/> <br/> Multiplayer coming soon<br/> <br/> <URL url="http://www.nitrostuntracing.com/cms/">http://www.nitrostuntrac...

Re: HL2 Insurgency Mod

Yes, that's what I am saying. The "Enable TrackIR" checkbox in the game ticks, and you click OK, but if you then click Advanced to open the menu again, "Enable TrackIR" is not ticked. TrackIR simply will not work. I found some trackir settings in the .cfg file for the game that w...

Re: HL2 Insurgency Mod

I was waiting, drooling for Insurgency - finally I managed to get it tonight, fired up TIR, found the TIR checkbox in insurgency, but it does nothing and won't stay ticked. Ho hum.

Re: Translation Offset

<t>I have noticed this also.<br/> In dogfighting games, when I lean forwards to zoom in on the sights, because the TIR unit is at the top of my monitor which is above the top of my head or even worse with the trackclip, lower down on the side, then it also moves the view down a bit and puts my sight...

Include some velcro or something in the box please

<t>The trackIR 4 is very light. The weight of the cable is sufficient to move the trackIR - I find it very hard to position mine and have it stay in place for extended periods of time.<br/> <br/> It would probably be an idea (and very cheap!) to include something (like adhesive bits of velcro) in th...
